SprinX founded as a medical management company.
SprinX renamed to Communitas and continued as medical management company, while sister-company, WebTPA, was launched as a standalone TPA that would work in close partnership with Communitas.
Communitas started a company called OnSIGHT Health, which would later be integrated as a unique program offering.
Communitas joined GuideWell and repositioned its model around integrated clinical insight, earlier intervention, and data to better serve self-funded employers.
Communitas achieved a three-year National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA) Accreditation for its Case Management (CM) and Utilization Management (UM) programs—the highest care standard in the industry.
Communitas has exponential member growth—200% membership increase from 2024 to 2026.
